This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines acceptable and prohibited uses of services provided by Monkey Mouth Web Hosting (“Company,” “we,” “us”). This policy is designed to protect our clients, infrastructure, and service quality.

By using our services, you (“Client,” “you”) agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Maintenance Agreement.


1. General Use Guidelines

Monkey Mouth Web Hosting services are intended for lawful, ethical, and reasonable use. Clients are expected to operate their websites in a way that does not harm other users, systems, or networks.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action to protect service stability and security.


2. Prohibited Activities

Clients may not use our services to engage in or promote any of the following activities:

Illegal or Harmful Content

  • Any activity that violates local, state, federal, or international law
  • Content involving fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
  • Promotion or sale of illegal goods or services
  • Copyright infringement or distribution of pirated materials

Spam & Abuse

  • Sending unsolicited commercial email (spam)
  • Hosting content advertised via spam from other networks
  • Email abuse, phishing, or deceptive messaging

Malware & Security Threats

  • Distribution of malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Unauthorized access attempts, hacking, or credential abuse
  • Activities intended to disrupt, overload, or compromise systems

Resource Abuse

  • Excessive use of server resources that negatively impacts performance
  • Use of services primarily for file storage, backups, or mirroring
  • Automated scripts or processes that degrade service stability

High-Risk or Prohibited Content

  • Hate speech, harassment, or abusive content
  • Sites promoting violence or illegal activities
  • Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent investment programs
  • Unlicensed financial, medical, or legal advice

3. Third-Party Software & Plugins

Clients may not install plugins, themes, or third-party software that:

  • Introduce security vulnerabilities
  • Are nulled, pirated, or unlicensed
  • Conflict with server stability or performance

Monkey Mouth Web Hosting reserves the right to disable or remove software that poses a risk to services or other clients.


4. Email Usage

Email services may not be used for spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or abusive behavior.

Clients are responsible for maintaining clean email lists and complying with applicable email marketing laws.


5. Enforcement & Violations

If a violation of this AUP is suspected:

  • We may temporarily suspend affected services during investigation
  • We will notify the client when reasonable and appropriate
  • Repeated or severe violations may result in termination of services

Monkey Mouth Web Hosting reserves the right to act immediately to protect systems, clients, and service integrity.


6. Client Responsibility for Content

Clients are solely responsible for all content hosted on their website, including text, images, downloads, and user-generated content.

Monkey Mouth Web Hosting does not actively monitor content but will respond to credible complaints or legal notices.


7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
